Summer Adventures in Washington
16 August, 2014
To celebrate the summer season, I took time to recharge in nature. Anyone from the Pacific Northwest can appreciate when summer finally arrives and we get blasted with a heat wave. During one of those dog days, I jumped off a paddle boat into the middle of a beautiful lake in Snohomish, which left me feeling refreshed and alive, and also sharing a bonding moment with a good friend. While my daughter was away, I took a solo adventure to the San Juan Islands to camp for a couple days. Camping alone is definitely challenging at times (tent set up is interesting!), but the solitude was magical. I came back to the city feeling rejuvenated, with a fresh perspective on life and excited to begin the journey of working as a Licensed Five Element Acupuncturist.
